In accordance to property maintenance codes, village residents are required to maintain sidewalks in front of their homes clear of snow, ice, and debris. Snow removal from residential driveways and business parking lots should not be pushed into the streets or block sidewalks.

Mailboxes
During snow removal, mailboxes may be damaged by plows or snow being thrown by plows. This is not intentional but can happen as part of clearing roads.
