Grievance Day, May 29th, 2025
Property owners may appear or file a grievance complaint form if they feel their assessment is incorrect. Grievance forms will be available in the Town Assessor’s Office at the end of April. The tentative assessment roll is also available for inspection prior to Grievance Day. After Grievance Day, letters outlining the Board of Assessment Review’s decision will be sent to property owners.
Meeting: Town of LeRay Municipal Office Board Room, 8650 LeRay Street, Evans Mills 13637 - Two Sessions will be held.

Pre-Paid Refuse Pickup -
We now have a pre-pay option available for residents! If you choose the monthly billing option for trash pickup, you won't need to buy stickers. However, if you have more bags than your chosen plan allows, you'll need to attach a sticker to the extra bags.
Sign-up today on the "Waste Management" Tab - You can sign up online or in the office -
Options Available:
$45/month for up to 3, 30-gallon bags per week
$55/month for up to 5, 30-gallon bags per week
$65/month for up to 8, 30-gallon bags per week
Now Hiring - Summer Recreation positions, apply under the employment opportunities tab
Noble Street Bridge:
Per the site manager, construction is expected to resume on March 1st, 2025. This project could continue into 2026.
Factory Street - Abass Factory Parcel number 55.63-1-1
Jefferson County gained ownership of the entire parcel in 2023. A board resolution was passed by the Jefferson County Board of Legislators to approve the demolition of the factory on January 7th, 2025, and construction is expected to begin spring 2025.
Water & Sewer:
Quarter 4 Billing will be mailed on March 1st, 2025, and due Monday, March 31st, 2025.
Any unpaid accounts will be relevied on your 2025 Property Tax Bills and no longer payable after March 31st, 2025.

- Water & Sewer payments can be paid online, by mail, or left inside the dropbox located on the front door. Please click the link below to pay online, all you need is your account number.
- Trash Stickers can be purchased online, only 10 stickers per envelope due to the postal system requirements.
- Village Property Taxes CANNOT be paid online at this time. If you would like to make a payment using debit/credit card, please call the village office.
- ALL ONLINE TRANSACTIONS HAVE A PROCESSING FEE
