What does this Village Planning Board Do?

The Village Planning Board guides the growth and development of Evans Mills to ensure projects are safe, functional, and in line with community standards. The Board reviews site plans, subdivisions, and land use proposals, ensuring compliance with zoning laws and village regulations. It also advises the Village Board on development matters and holds public hearings to gather community input. By shaping long-term planning and overseeing new construction, the Planning Board helps maintain the village’s character and supports thoughtful, sustainable growth.

Meetings: The Village Planning Board meets once every quarter. All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Evans Mills Village Office, 8706 Noble Street, Evans Mills, NY 13637.
